1. Presidio Trust Public Board of Directors meeting will be held on Monday, July 14, 6:30 pm. The public is invited to offer comments on the draft Presidio Trust Management Plan Main Post Update Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement. 2. July 17, 6:00pm: William Templeton -Califia Lives Here: Investigating San Francisco's African-American Heritage Sites
Historian John William Templeton, author of Our Roots Run Deep: the Black Experience in California, volumes I through 4, illustrates dozens of locations having potential architectural and historical significance currently undergoing research as part of a context statement on African-American heritage in San Francisco. Tickets for single lectures are $7 for members/students, $10 for non-members.
