San Francisco Young Preservationist Network (HeritageYP) Heritage is pleased to announce the formation of the San Francisco Young Preservationist Network (HeritageYP). Created over the summer of 2008, HeritageYP is a social and networking group for those under 40 interested in historic preservation and related fields within the Bay Area. HeritageYP was formed to foster a community of young people who understand the value of preserving cultural resources and the built environment. To extend conversations relating to preservation issues into other fields and the community at large, the group plans opportunities for advocacy, continuing education, and socializing through events, tours, lectures, and hands-on experience.
